Tokyo Motor Show 2015

Summary
We exhibited for the second time at the Tokyo Motor Show, which was held from October 29 to November 8. With the theme of "Creating Customer Satisfaction," the Yachiyo booth aimed to embody Yachiyo's technology and create an exhibit that customers could see, feel, and be excited about. Additionally, at a joint exhibition with the Japan Auto-Body Industries Association Inc., we exhibited a light vehicle ambulance that utilizes special vehicle bodywork technology.

Yachiyo Booth
PCSF fuel tank system
This is a fuel tank system that meets high standards of hydrocarbon (HC) permeation regulations for automobile exhaust gas. PCSF* is a manufacturing method in which valves, baffles, tubes, etc., necessary for fuel tanks are built in in advance during blow molding. By modifying the blow molding machine, we can realize two manufacturing methods, PCSF molding and regular blow molding, with one molding machine. *PCSF:Parison Cut Sheet Forming
S660 Interior/ Exterior Customization
The entire body of the Honda S660 was wrapped (film applied) to give it a more unique appearance. The high-quality painted parts are attached to the interior to provide a new sense of texture and feel.
Exterior customization (wrapping)
This is a technology to wrap vehicles with specialized films to suit various shapes, such as complex body curves and exterior parts that require a sense of unity with the body. We can create the look we want without relying on painting. This time, we customized the painting of S660 in orange, Yachiyo's corporate color.

Komawari Rescue
This is a light ambulance that complies with emergency service implementation standards. Based on a light vehicle, it is equipped with a stretcher for patient transportation, an AED (automated external defibrillator), a ventilator, and a diffused warning light. Taking advantage of the maneuverability unique to light vehicles, it can drive on narrow roads that are difficult for regular ambulances to enter.
